05/24/2012 - Kat - I took this picture because I believe that differences should be celebrated. I know what it's like to be bullied for being different, but because I fought to be equal and to have my voice be heard, I came out stronger on the other side. I believe that we should live in a world where EVERYONE is equal, and no one should be excluded from being able to have the same rights that I was born with. I feel that it's a great hypocrisy that in a country that promises liberty and the pursuit of happiness, that the government is even trying to take those things away from people. That's why I pose for NOH8!
