12/13/2014 - Agustin Figueroa - It surprises me how far we have gotten. Growing up in a world where I had to walk on egg shell because of my sexual orientation was draining me little by little. I have always been comfortable in my own skin, but seeing my brother and sisters getting bashed and killed because of their sexual orientation made me want to hide- Not because I was ashamed of myself, but because maybe I would be next. I am overjoyed because I can finally be me, everywhere and anywhere. The progress have given many of us courage and hope to continue living our lives fiercely and fearless. I Am Agustin Figueroa
