The NOH8 Campaign is proud to sponsor CESCaL’s 3rd Annual National Educator Conference focused on LGBTQIA Youth. Presented by The Center for Excellence in School Counseling and Leadership (CESCaL), this conference is designed to empower school counselors and all educators to support their LGBTQIA students. The conference will be held February 17-19, 2012 in San Diego, CA. The NOH8 Campaign will be hosting a photo shoot for conference attendees on Friday, February 17th (only) from 9pm to 10:30pm. WHO SHOULD COME: School Counselors, P. E. Teachers / Coaches, Elementary / Secondary Educators, School Psychologists, School Administrators, School Nurses, School and Community Based Mental Health Professionals, Marriage and Family Therapists, Social Workers, and Licenced Professional Clinical Counselors. GOALS OF THE CONFERENCE Teach & Empower Educators With: - Knowledge of the laws and rights of LGBTQIA students and resources available to students and families - Attitudes that empower educators to take personal responsibility as advocates for LGBTQIA youth - Skills to access resources and to create safe, welcoming and inclusive schools for al LGBTQIA youth JOIN THE NOH8 CAMPAIGN ON FRIDAY NIGHT!
