On TUESDAY, DECEMBER 13TH the NOH8 Campaign will celebrate 3 years of activism and contributing to the fight for equality with its 3RD ANNUAL ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION, set to be hosted at the HOUSE OF BLUES on the Sunset Strip in WEST HOLLYWOOD.
Join NOH8 Supporters from all walks of life, including special celebrity guests, as we come together to reflect on the progress we've made and the work we have left to accomplish. The City of West Hollywood will proclaim Tuesday, December 13, 2011 “NOH8 DAY” with an on-stage proclamation from Mayor John Duran.
We will turn the House of Blues into a gallery show featuring as many of the 18,000+ photos as we can. Co-Founder Adam Bouska is scheduled to photograph a few of the VIPS on the stage during the event. Come watch as we bring the photos to life with supporters including Mackenzie Phillips, Dave Coulier, Ashley Fink (Glee), Chandler Massey (Days of our Lives), and Mitchel Musso!
Doors Open: 7PM!
Open Bar: 7PM-8PM*
Live Performances: 9:30PM
All you have to do is show up! There is no cover charge and you don't need a ticket. This event is open to ALL ages. (We will have ASL interpreters on stage during performances for the deaf community.)
Special Performances by DMC (of Run-DMC fame) featuring Pauley Perrette, Metro Station, Daniel Joseph Baker (America's Got Talent), and YouTube sensations Mandy Rain and Tinashe. There will also be a special NOH8 Video Tribute featuring a live performance by Gabe Lopez.
Celebrity Guests include LeAnn Rimes, Eric Balfour, Rebecca Black, Fran Drescher, Hal Sparks, director Adam Shankman, Christopher Gorham & Anel Lopez-Gorham, Jodi Sweetin, Shay Mitchell, Madison Hildebrand, Tabatha Coffey, Tommy Davidson, Christian Chavez, Damien Fahey, and many more!
This is our time to get together and rally support as we head into an election year. We all must remember, marriage equality is not just a California issue, its a world wide issue. Let support the states that need our help in 2012!
