Join Team NOH8 @ AIDS Walk New York 2012!

On SUNDAY, MAY 20th, 2012 GMHC (Gay Men's Health Crisis) will be hosting their annual fundraiser; AIDS Walk New York! For the second year in a row, TEAM NOH8 will be hosting their own team for AIDS Walk NY in order to help support and raise awareness for the ongoing fight against  HIV and AIDS.

8:30 a.m. Sign-In
9:15 a.m. Opening Ceremony Begins
10:00 a.m. AIDS Walk New York Begins

Location: The AIDS Walk will start and end in Central Park. Enter at 59th Street and 5th Avenue.

Length: 10 kilometers/6.2 miles

All funds raised by Team NOH8 will go to AIDS Walk NY. Last year our team raised over $22k for the cause, and we hope to meet and exceed that goal this year. You can find a full list of the beneficiaries here.

When you arrive at the website, select Join a Team!

Once the page updates, select "NOH8 Campaign - 0174" from the 'Join An Existing Team' drop-down menu and follow the steps from there!

Once you've joined the team, you will be sent an e-mail with information on how to start raising funds for your team. Remember that even though you might not be able to help raise funds directly, you can still walk with us and be a part of TEAM NOH8 at no cost. Encourage your friends and family to sign up, or at least come out and be a part of the walk with you! We are still gathering details for the event, and will post more specific details as they become available.

By joining the team, you will join other NOH8 supporters in coming together for this amazing event to support not only those who need our help, but those our community has lost along the way. NOH8 Co-Founders Adam Bouska and Jeff Parshley, as well as their entire NOH8 team, will be present - and we're looking forward to seeing you all there!
