Team NOH8's Rapid Quest with Rocco!

From September 9th through 11th, NOH8 Campaign Treasurer Rocco Vienhage will be participating on behalf of TEAM NOH8 CAMPAIGN in RAPID QUEST - an all-inclusive 2-day Whitewater-Rafting Expedition down the American River in the Sierra Nevada Mountains for socially and physically active men and women looking to put their busy city lives aside for a weekend and put their bodies to the test; all for a good cause!

This trip is comprised of participants who are looking forward to braving the white water while simultaneously helping to make a difference in their community by raising critical funds for the homeless youth and senior programs at the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center.

The Center's wide array of services includes: free HIV/AIDS care and medications for those most in need; housing, food, clothing and support for homeless LGBT youth; low-cost counseling and addiction-recovery services; essential services for LGBT-parented families and seniors; legal services; health education and HIV prevention programs; transgender services; cultural arts program and much more.
