I’m dedicated to teaching my students to always stand up for what they know is right

As a high school teacher, I’ve witnessed the damaging effects that hateful comments and events have on my students and the world around us, which is why I’ve established a classroom environment built around tolerance, acceptance, and respect. It’s important for students in high school to express themselves freely, so above anything else, I want my students to accept themselves and each other and eventually help shape our society into one without hate. High school can be a rough ride for many students, but I’m dedicated to teaching my students to always stand up for what they know is right, and I believe that together we can make a difference.
