My name is Brian Anderson. I grew up in a small Illinois farm town. I grew up in that town as someone known to be gay, and from that I was well known as someone to "hate." So for me, this NOH8 picture I did was my way to stand up to that hate.

The day of the photo shoot, I was a small part of such a big thing that's history in-the-making. My picture was taken with my whole heart and a whole lot of pride. So to the NOH8 organization, the people who made this happen & Adam for taking the photo..... Thank you. Job well done.
